Waterfront
Entertainment was formed by Hugh Robertson following
a respected tenure in the industry that began at Capitol-EMI
Distribution followed by seven years at EMI Christian Music
Group, where he headed up general market sales and was later
named Sr. VP Sales & Marketing for Sparrow Records.
Instrumental in launching such industry icons as Avalon,
Nichole Nordeman, Switchfoot
and Delirious?, as well leading
the marketing for such artists as Steven
Curtis Chapman, Newsboys
and others. Robertson later served as General Manager of
Squint Entertainment, where he worked with Sixpence
None The Richer, as well as signed Souljahz,
Glassbyrd and 38th
Parallel. More recently, through Waterfront's consulting
arm, he has overseen marketing for Hero!
The Rock Opera, as well as Ardent Records artists
Skillet and Todd
Agnew.
